Refund policy

We want you to love your purchase from Nurse Ready Cards. All products are carefully inspected before dispatch to ensure high quality. However, we understand that issues may occasionally arise. This policy outlines your rights and responsibilities regarding returns and refunds, in line with Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Quality Control

Every Nurse Ready Card is individually checked for accuracy, clarity, and quality before packaging and shipping. We aim for each customer to receive a flawless product. In the rare event that your item arrives with a manufacturing defect or printing error, you may be eligible for a replacement or refund as outlined below.

All badge reels undergo visual and functional inspection prior to dispatch, including checks of epoxy finish, acrylic clarity, and basic retraction function.

Content Accuracy and Updates

All Nurse Ready Cards are developed using reputable Australian nursing and healthcare references available at the time of printing. While every effort is made to ensure accuracy, clinical guidelines and standards of practice can change over time.

If a factual inaccuracy is identified, Nurse Ready Cards reserves the right to correct it in future versions. Updates or revisions do not constitute a product fault, and previously sold products will not be automatically replaced.

Nurse Ready Cards™ products are intended as educational references only and are not a substitute for clinical judgment, medical advice, or workplace protocols. Customers are encouraged to refer to current professional guidelines alongside these tools.

Change of Mind

Due to the nature of our reference cards being pocket-sized, professionally printed educational tools, we do not offer refunds for change of mind. Please ensure you read all product descriptions carefully before purchasing.

For hygiene and safety reasons, badge reels cannot be returned for change of mind once opened or used.

Returns Eligibility

You may request a return or refund under the following conditions:

• The product arrives damaged, faulty, or with a clear manufacturing defect (e.g. misprints, smudged ink).
• You received the wrong item or your order was incomplete.

To be eligible, the item must:

• Be unused and in the same condition you received it.
• Be in its original packaging.
• Be reported to us within 14 days of receiving your order.

To qualify for assessment, badge reels must:

• Not show signs of wear, over-extension, forceful pulling, or damage caused by misuse.
• Not have attached heavy items beyond what the reel is designed for (ID cards or similar lightweight items).
• Be returned with the protective packaging intact.

What Is Not Considered a Defect

The following card issues are not considered manufacturing faults:

• Minor colour variation between screen and print (due to monitor differences).
• Damage incurred after delivery (e.g. bending, creasing, writing on the cards).
• User error, such as exposure to water, heat, or misuse.

These badge reel issues are not considered defects:

• Minor epoxy, acrylic, or colour variations from manufacturing.
• Natural wear to retractable mechanisms over time.
• Damage from overloading the reel with heavy items (e.g. large key sets).
• Damage from forceful pulling, yanking, or dropping.
• Scratches caused during daily use.

How to Request a Return or Refund

Please email us at nursereadycards@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery and include the following details:

• Your full name
• Order number
• Clear photos showing the issue

Customers are responsible for return postage costs unless the item was faulty or incorrect. If your return is approved, we will provide the return address and instructions.

Refunds (If Approved)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

Please note: Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the item was faulty or sent in error.

Exchanges

If your item is found to be defective or incorrect, we may offer a replacement at no additional cost.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund:

• Check your bank account again.
• Contact your bank or payment provider — processing times may vary.

Australian Consumer Law

This policy complies with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Under the ACL, you are entitled to a refund or replacement for a major failure, and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If a product fails to meet acceptable quality and the failure is not major, you are entitled to have the product repaired or replaced.
